Water Purification Devices – Why They are Worth the Expense

Most people are open to installing water purification devices in their home, because they understand that there are contaminants in our tap water. But many people don’t seem to grasp that, without a water purification device, their family’s health is at risk.

About 80,000 industrial chemicals find their way into our water supply; these chemicals can cause health problems if consumed regularly. Water purification devices protect you from these contaminants in our drinking water supply.

A water purification device becomes even more obvious when you consider that there are over 2,000 carcinogenic contaminants in our reservoirs. As a matter of fact, many medical professionals blame chlorine alone for causing the spread of cancer over the years. Since chlorine disinfection at water treatment facilities came into use, incidence of cancer has risen dramatically.

Chlorine is the only chemical that we know for sure is in every glass of tap water. That alone should make you want to, at very least, look into installing water purification devices in your home, but for some reason people seem to ignore the health risks of drinking unclean water.

Besides chemicals, a water purification device also gets rid of microscopic organisms and heavy trace metals. Not all parasites and cysts are eliminated by the chlorine disinfection process as many people believe. And the traces of lead and copper get into tap water by leaching off water pipes.

To combat the range of contaminants threatening your family’s health, you need to give water purification devices more thought. You need to install a unit that features the four basic filters for removing impurities. Leaving any one of these filters out could result in you drinking unclean water.

Your device should come equipped with both a multi media block and an activated granular carbon filter to remove chemicals. It would also include a sub micron filter and an ion exchange to effectively block microscopic organisms and toxic metal traces. The ion exchange also adds electrolytes to your water and keeps the pH level balanced.

If you have never considered water purification devices to be important, I hope now you see that they are an absolute necessity for maintaining vibrant health. Don’t take my warnings lightly; purchase and install one of these systems as soon as possible.

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the water filter, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
